Physical Distancing
Guests will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other groups of people not traveling with them while standing in line, using elevators or moving around the property. Dining room tables, deck chairs, and other physical layouts will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing. Employees will be reminded not to touch their faces and to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from guests and other employees whenever possible. Rocking Horse Ranch will comply with local or state mandated occupancy limits in all facilities and public areas.
Cleaning Products and Protocols
We currently use cleaning products and protocols which meet EPA guidelines and are CDC approved for use and are effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens. We are working with our vendors, distribution partners and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted availability of these cleaning supplies and the necessary PPE’s.
Hand Sanitizer Stations
Hand sanitizer dispensing stations are placed at key guest and employee entrances and contact areas such as the front desk/lobby area, dining room entrance, arcade, bar, elevator landings, swimming pools, slides, restrooms and fitness area. Sanitizer will be provided in guest rooms and throughout the back of house for employees.
State Of The Art HVAC System
Public areas throughout the resort are fitted with the NEW Reme Halo® air purification system. This advanced environmental air treatment system is proven to kill 99% of viruses and germs while providing fresh, clean and odor-free air.
Guest Signage
There will be health and hygiene reminders throughout the property including the proper way to wear, handle and dispose of masks. Electronic signage/television screens will also be used for messaging and communication.
Employee Signage
Signage will be posted throughout the property reminding employees of the proper way to wear, handle and dispose of masks, use gloves, wash hands, sneeze, and to avoid touching their faces.
Employee’s Responsibilities
Rocking Horse Ranch employees are vital for an effective sanitation and health program, and we are proactively educating our employees on what is known about the virus, including its transmission and prevention. While we are well known for our meticulously clean resort and attentive employees, correct hygiene and frequent handwashing with soap will be vital to help combat the spread of germs and viruses. All employees have been instructed to wash their hands, or use sanitizer when a sink is not available, every 60 minutes (for 20 seconds) and after any of the following activities: using the restroom, sneezing, coughing, touching the face, blowing the nose, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, smoking, eating, drinking, going on break, before or after starting a shift and after using the time clock.
